Day 1: Arrival–Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

This safari officially starts in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Our representative will meet you upon your arrival and transfer you to your place of lodging to spend the first night of your safari.

Zambezi Sunset Cruise

The highlight today is a Zambezi Sunset Cruise. This activity offers a unique and intimate way to view the Zambezi River.

You will be picked from your hotel in the afternoon and taken to the jetty to board your boat. You will enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks as you set sail on one of the continent's most famous rivers. From the boat, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of game. This might include hippos, crocodiles, and even elephants on the river’s banks as well as the many different species of bird that normally skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline.

On this boat cruise, you are being presented with great photo opportunities to catch the gracious glow of the African sunset on this vast body of water.

Day 2: Victoria Falls–Kasane, Botswana

Today after breakfast, you will go for a guided tour of the Victoria Falls.

The Victoria Falls is known as the largest sheet of falling water in the world. You will enter the Victoria Falls rain forest to explore the magnificent plant and birdlife of this unique rain forest—created by the constant spray of the thundering Falls falling on the surrounding area. On reaching the edge of the Falls, you will continue to explore the gorge through various view/vantage points as you are drenched by the Falls’ never ending spray.

You will leave Zimbabwe after your guided tour of Victoria Falls and cross the border into Botswana to spend two(2) nights of your safari vacation.

Chobe River boat cruise

The highlight today is a boat cruise in the Chobe River. This boat cruise gives you the chance to experience the animals of Chobe from another perspective. You might, therefore, get up close and personal with hippos, crocodiles and a mind–boggling array of water birds.

Day 3: Exploring Chobe National Park

Today you'll wake up early in the morning for a light breakfast and thereafter, head out to Chobe National Park for your morning game drive.

Tucked up in Botswana’s far northeastern border with Namibia, Chobe National Park is one of the great wildlife destinations of Africa. At approximately 11 900sq km, Chobe is made up of rich ecosystems and pristine landscapes consisting of savanna plains, river, swamps and scrubs. It is the ultimate haven for vast herds of elephant. As many as 120,000 animals depend on the Chobe River’s life–sustaining waterways when the dry season kicks in.

Other resident game species are large herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, the rare puku, roan and sable antelope. These are normally trailed by the notoriously fearless lions of the Chobe, leopard and cheetah.

You will return to your lodge around noon for your lunch.

Head out again into Chobe National Park in the afternoon for your game drive and return to your lodge just before sunset.

Day 4: Departure

Wake up very early and head out to Chobe National Park for your last safari drive. You will return to your lodge around mid-morning, at the end of today's game drive.

Your safari ends at the lodge in Kasane where you will be dropped off. We can also drop you off at Kasane Airport for your onward travel.

Note: Transfers back to Victoria Falls can be arranged at an extra cost.
